Biography

Dr. Kaitlin Bundock is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and Rehabilitation at Utah State University. She earned her PhD in Special Education from the University of Utah in 2015, and previously taught high school math in a resource setting in the Salt Lake Area as well as in Kona, Hawaii. Dr. Bundock received a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology from Northern Arizona University, and a M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Hawaii. In her research, Dr. Bundock primarily focuses on interventions for students struggling in mathematics at the secondary level, Tier 2 behavioral interventions, and functional behavioral assessment in secondary schools. Dr. Bundock has helped implement Check-in/Check-out (a Tier 2 behavioral intervention for students with minor to moderate problem behaviors) in elementary and middle schools, and has trained special end general education co-teaching pairs in effective methods for teaching mathematics to students with disabilities in inclusive settings.
