Dr. Karen Hager Martinez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation. She earned her Ph.D. in Special Education from Utah State University in 2005. Her research interests include technology-enhanced special education teacher preparation; preservice and in-service teacher supervision, observation, and feedback; technology-enhanced mentoring; and sustained classroom implementation of research-based instructional practices. She is Co-Chair of the Undergraduate Committee and Director of the Mild-Moderate Distance Certification Program.
